What’s new from TGBC at TGC15?

We’re excited to be at The Gospel Coalition’s National Conference in Orlando this week. Here are five new resources we’re launching at the conference that you can now get your hands on:

1. Daniel For You by David Helm
We live in difficult times to be people who obey God and worship him alone. How can we be confident under pressure and faithful in the fire?

In Daniel For You, this readable, accessible, exciting volume walking through one of the best-loved books of the Bible, David Helm shows how Daniel and his friends learned how to live in Babylon, far from their home in God's land—and how we can do the same.

David is leading a Focus Gathering with Mike Bullmore at TGC15 on 'Preparing to Preach the OT Historical Books.'

2. Gospel Shaped Worship by Jared C. Wilson
New from The Gospel Coalition, Gospel Shaped Worship is a seven-week whole church resource that explores what it means for a church to be a worshipping community.

The Leader's Kit contains everything you need to evaluate, plan, promote and run an engaging and immersive programme with your church. Written and presented by Jared C. Wilson, Director of Communications, Midwestern Seminary & College, Kansas City, MO, USA.

Jared is leading a workshop at TGC15 titled ‘Going to Church

3. Gospel Shaped Outreach by Erik Raymond
Also new from The Gospel Coalition, Gospel Shaped Outreach is a nine-week whole-church resource that explores what it means for a church to be a community with a message and a mission to the world. Written and presented by Erik Raymond, Preaching Pastor, Emmaus Bible Church, Omaha, NE, USA.

Erik is leading a workshop at TGC15 on ‘Everyday Evangelism’, highlighting some practical ways to cultivate and sustain effective evangelism in the church.

4. Honest Evangelism by Rico Tice
Hostility and hunger—that's the response to the message of Jesus. The first is painful, the second is wonderful, and Rico Tice is honest about both.

Short, clear, realistic and humorous, Honest Evangelism will challenge you to be honest in your conversations about Jesus, help you to know how to talk about him, and thrill you that God can and will use ordinary people to change eternal destinies.

5. Uncovering the life of Jesus by Becky Pippert
Every Christian knows that Jesus is good news for everyone. Yet most of us struggle to share this good news with the people closest to us. Becky Pippert has spent years talking to people about Jesus and her experience shines through on each page of these six Bible studies in Luke.

Uncovering the life of Jesus has been designed to make it easy for any Christian to share their faith with friends and family. The expertly crafted questions are designed to open up conversations as you look at six encounters with Jesus from the Gospel of Luke.

Becky is leading two workshops with Rico Tice at TGC15 called ‘Excited about Evangelism? Inspiring Your Church Family to Share Their Faith Today’ and, ‘I’ve Come to Christ…What Next? Helping New Disciples Walk Their First Few Steps’.

We pray that all these new resources and The Gospel Coalition 2015 National Conference will be used by the Lord to grow His people and His church.
