Your Account

A website account is free, and signing up is easy. Click the 'new account' button on the left to create an account, which will allow you to store items in your shopping cart for easy retrieval at a later date, and also order goods online.

When you have an account, you can log into the site at any time, click the 'My Account' button on the top right to view and alter your account details.

Online Ordering

You will need to create a free account before you can order online. To do this, click the 'new account' button on the left.

To order goods online, first browse the categories on the left to find the item you require, and click 'Add to cart'. This will add the item to your virtual shopping cart. When you have added all of the items you want, click 'Checkout' in the menu on the left, and you be instructed to enter your delivery details and credit card information, and be able to look over the final order before clicking 'Confirm' and sending off your order. You may cancel at any time until then.

Payment Methods

Payment by credit card is the only method possible at present, but soon we hope to offer regular customers the option to pay by invoice (dependent on the value of the order). If you would like to pay by any other method, such as ACH/EFT, we will also be able to accept that in time.

Shipping & Delivery

All in-stock merchandise is shipped within 24 to 48 hours of receiving your order. Shipping and handling charges will be determined during the checkout process.

For Standard, please allow seven to ten business days for delivery. For Priority, please allow 1-6 business days. For Next Day, orders placed before midnight will be despatched the following day. So for next day delivery, please allow two working days.

Returns & Replacements

When you return an item please indicate one of the following reasons:

  • You ordered the wrong title/edition of an item
  • We shipped the wrong title/edition of a title
  • We shipped too many of an item
  • Items were damaged [please describe the damage]
  • Other [please describe]

All returns have the following conditions attached:

  1. Must be returned within 30 days of receipt.
  2. Please ensure that the books do not get damaged in the return delivery - they must be tightly packed in protective packaging. Damage occuring during return is the responsibility of the customer.
  3. Must be in original condition.
  4. If the return is not because of our error, shipping will not be refunded and there will be a 10% returns fee charged on returned goods.
  5. The original shipping note must accompany the return. [Please make a copy for your records..]

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your order in full or in part, we need in writing (an email would be fine) stating why you want to cancel. There may be a cancellation fee of 10% on said item(s) (if we manage to void the transaction before it has been settled with your bank). If you cancel your order in full or in part after the package was already shipped, then it will be treated as a return. Please read our Returns and Replacements policy above.

Discount Policy

To view the discount range for a particular product, please find it on our website and look at the "Price Breaks" table on the right hand side. Please call us if you need a larger quantity than the table allows for.

Every year many worthy causes approach The Good Book Company for discounts beyond the retail price - including those serving some of the nation's most needy in State Prisons; foreign parties needing volumes of bibles; University & church missions; and friends of employees here.

We are not best placed to evaluate the worthiness of each cause - in a sense, all Christian ministries are doing vital work that should be supported. Local or specialist ministries that are familiar with the area you work in and share your aims are best placed both to evaluate your need and enable you to meet it financially. Thus we have adopted a totally uniform discount policy - you will not get more discount by calling where we have already published the details.

our system benefits everyone

It took a lot of time to develop our complex variable-discount system, where our resources are placed on one of six different discount ranges according to a number of factors, such as postage costs & actual cost of product (print, shipping, marketing, warehousing etc.). This saves us an enormous amount of time and enables us to be fair, not favouring one Christian ministry above another. In saving time, we save money and can therefore provide everyone with lower prices.
