- Not what I was looking for Review by Anonymous

This book might be fine for families who really do want to sit around the table and talk about the Bible. I was looking for bed-time Bible study for a 6 year-old. I later found that XTB was a better match for me. (Posted on 10/29/08)Rating - Excellent for family bible/prayer times Review by Sally Owen

We have been using Table Talk for a couple of months now and it's working well for us with our 8 and 6 year old children. We particularly like the short practical exercises or personal questions that attract their attention when they otherwise are not always keen to listen. They are just the right length for us too, I'm just going to order the next book: Table Talk 2! This has been an excellent resource for our family. It is focused on the word of God, in short enough chunks to do at the breakfast table before everyone goes their separate ways. It gets all of us thinking, talking and praying together. And it's fun without being cringeworthy. Mum and dad love it and most importantly the kids do too. We would highly recomment this (Posted on 5/18/07)Rating - Just what we need Review by Mike Tomlinson

We are totally hooked on this series as a family. I thought they might be a bit brief and insubstantial but somehow they always seem to teach us good stuff, leaving us wanting more the next evening. Being short they allow us the time to combine them with reading a good book and praying for others. (Posted on 5/13/07)Rating
