- Kids really looked forward to it every day. Review by Jo Levasier

We have a 6 yr old boy and 4 yr old girl and they really connected with the calendar and booklet. We tried one last year and they weren't ready but this year it worked very well. We didn't make anything, but did the talking bits which were great. The prayer section worked well too. (Posted on 1/8/10)Rating - Excellent Review by Neil Muskett

We used this calendar pack every evening during advent with our three children, aged 11, 8 & 6. It was pitched just right - not to long or short, and gave us the opportunity to extend our older boys understanding. It fitted in just right after meal time. In fact if we forgot, our children were quick to remind us!Rating
A truely excellent resources and centred on the Gospel truth. (Posted on 1/4/10) - Our family loved it Review by Anonymous

I think this is a great way to help a family focus on the real meaning of Christmas together. Our kids (ages 7, 5, 3 and 1), especially the older two enjoyed it very much and were eager to open the windows, read the verses and have us read the devotional guide to them. We used "The Real Christmas Tree" pack last year and it was equally as good. (Posted on 12/24/08)Rating - Excellent Family Advent Calendar Review by Jayne Farrant

We have all thoroughly enjoyed this advent calendar. Our children (aged 7 & 9) have found it fun and have been very keen to join in and do the readings and activities. It takes about 5 min each day, and we have found it fits in best for us at the end of a meal. It is a very good adaptation of the Christmas story and is a great thing to do as a family to prepare for celebrating the coming of Jesus. (Posted on 12/14/08)Rating - Great! We have been using these advent calendars for the last few Christmases with our girls (now aged 4 and 7). We spend about 10 minutes at a meal time opening the door, looking at the bible verse and exploring the Christmas story a bit more with the help of the little book that comes with the calendar. My girls like the activities that the book suggests but we don't always do all the activities depending on time. It's a good alternative to doing family bible study (like table talk) during December and if you remember to buy chocolate coins you can bribe them to join in!Rating
Also a great present for god-children, nephews, nieces etc. to explain the Christmas story. (Posted on 11/21/08) - Excellent Review by Anonymous

Our children (7-10) really enjoyed this calendar. The Bible studies were a short, enjoyable way to discuss the truths of Christmas with our children. We would highly recommend this product although it could be improved by the addition of chocolate!! (Posted on 12/24/07)Rating - A fantastic biblical resource Review by Anonymous

I did this with my 5 year old. We don't celebrate Christmas and this was truly biblical. I was impressed by how child friendly it was. It was broken down into easy parts that were always engaging. I am buying it for the other children in our circle of family and friends. (Posted on 10/27/06)Rating - Advent calendar pack Review by Mrs Yvonne Wilkinson

My 6 year old daughter and I went through this wonderful calendar and she loved it! I enjoyed the booklet and my daughter grasped much of it despite her tender years. The pictures in the calendar are very colourful and she especially enjoyed opening Dec 25th. As a new reader she really enjoyed reading the texts herself and trying to learn new words in the bible. I'm so glad I bought it at the womens convention in London. (Posted on 1/26/06)Rating
