Most people ask the big questions of life, but are unable to find an answer. If there is a God, what is he like? How can I find out about him? What does God know about me? What does he think of me? Is he interested in me at all? Or is there some great secret I'm missing?
This Good Book Guide takes us to a part of the Bible that has compelling and insightful answers to these questions and many more. Excellent study guide.
I particlarly enjoy the format of each study session. - the way each session follows the same pattern of questions, getting personal and 'Think about it'.
Very good value for money. ![]()
Good and stimulating
The booklet has a very good summary of the approach it uses to Bible study and why this particular booklet is relevant. The questions are well structured using investigation, understanding and application. The leader’s notes at the end are very helpful particularly in understanding what they are trying to draw out.
My first impression was that it was going to be appropriate for new or young Christians but in fact it is very applicable for mature ones as well. Our group is mature and perceptive and although some questions are a bit obvious they answers are essential for the application and in following the arguments.
We are about half way through and finding it stimulating. ![]()
