I am an editor for a Christian website, and wanted to review these books to see if we want to refer parents to them. So I read them out loud to my dear friend. We quickly laughed out loud, but also paused a few times with raised eyebrows to look at one another when we realized how profound these little books are. They tell Bible stories from the gospels so accurately, and they convey the character of God accurately. I was very impressed with the illustrations, which say as much as the words themselves. I'm 25, and I came away worshipping the Lord and thinking of him more fondly. Parents and kids alike will enjoy these books.
I truly LOVE everything about these books!! They are so age-appropriate, engaging, biblically accurate, fun, simple, funny... exactly what I was hoping they would be! We bought the full set for our classrooms for the children to read and also for our Bible story lessons each week. I can't wait for the kids to see these!!
