I’m always looking for fresh resources to help my children engage in the story of scripture and this devotional hits all the right notes. We used this in collaboration with and Easter event we held for families at our church. Families were given this outside of the event but then at the event, the story was read and a storyboard craft was created by all families attending. The partnership of both pieces allowed us to have a united Lent discipleship moment for our families!

I am not easy to impress when it comes to Christian children’s books, as it is hard to find one that strikes the balance of child-level communication while still maintaining the depth and fullness of the Word of God. The Garden, The Curtain, and The Cross blew me away. Honestly, as a 30-something who has been in church her whole life, I have drawn understanding and insight for myself from the simplicity but DEPTH and big picture biblical perspective of this book. Thank you for remaining faithful to the truth of God’s Word without dumbing it down and without admixture of the world’s philosophies. This book is gold.
