Other information

XTB (eXplore The Bible) is a series of daily Bible reading notes for children of the 7-11 age group, with puzzles, pictures and prayers.

XTB is beautifully presented with full-color illustrations and is a series of 12 books which, if used on a quarterly basis, will help a child cover all of the main books, themes and characters of the Bible in 3 years.

Look out for Table Talk - a book of daily Bible times for families with children aged from 4 upwards. The Bible passages are the same each day for XTB and Table Talk - so you can use the two books together, or on their own. Whichever suits you best.

Table of contents

  • Days 1-20 look at Mark
  • Days 21-34 make a start in Numbers chs 1-11, with a brief look back at exodus over days 23 & 24
  • Day 35 gives a chance to look quickly at 1 Thessalonians
  • Day 36-50 opens up the letter to the Ephesians
  • Back to Numbers chs 11-21 over days 51-61, touching on John's Gospel, relevant to Numbers
  • Days 62-65 looks at chs 31-34 of Deuteronomy

Fabulous!!

I think that 'The Promise Keeper' is great. Instead of reading the bible and not understanding what it means xtb really helps me to understand it! It gives me a real understanding for what life was like in those days and helps me to think hard about what Jesus & his kingdom / people went through. Every night after I have done my activies, I always look forward to doing xtb. The part of xtb I enjoy the most it the parts when you have to crack the code. When I started doing Mark's gospel (the very first part), I thought that it was very interesting how the creator of xtb put the verse numbers and what that part of Mark's gospel was talking about. With that I knew what was coming my way. It's fabulous!!!

Excellent

(Review written for 'XTB Subscription')

Excellent! Our 8 yr old boy n 6 yr old daughter love doing it first thing in the morning by themselves Takes them maybe 10 mins and they really enjoy it. We hope it will help them love God's word and get into daily habit of sitting at Jesus ' feet - it seems to be doing that so far .Can't recommend it enough.

Highly recommended

A first-rate bible reading resource for our 9 year old son. Clear, thought-provoking teaching with interesting puzzles to do which reinforce it. He loves doing it and never wants to miss one before he goes to bed.

great- makes your child think

(Review written for 'XTB Subscription')

My 8 year old girl loves this. It's easy to use, clearly Biblical, applies for the modern world and is not shy to ask hard questions. I've just signed up for year's subscription

XTB notes for children

(Review written for 'XTB Subscription')

My daughter is very much enjoying her XTB. As a parent it is good to see your children developing a taste for learning from scripture. XTB is working for her right now. Thanks

Great resource!

(Review written for 'XTB Subscription')

Our 8 year old daughter looks forward to doing her 'bible reading' each night - it is easy for her to read alone and understand the big picture of the passage. It also has interesting activities for her. Highly recommended!!

XTB bible notes

(Review written for 'XTB Subscription')

Bought these for my daughters age 6 and 7. Both love doing their bible notes each night. My 6 year old struggles with the reading and some of the puzzles bur this doesn't deter her and with a little help she keeps up with her sister! Such a privilege to guide them as they learn from the bible themselves. The conversations we have had about the subjects they have been learning about have been amazing. The notes point them each day to the Saviour - what more can I add?!

Great tool for getting kids into the Bible

(Review written for 'XTB Subscription')

I ordered XTB because I wanted something more than just Bible stories for my nearly 7 year old. We enjoy doing it together and every day is different which I like. There are some fun puzzles and teaching points are put across in creative ways. She is definitely learning more about God and being a Christian from doing it and so am I!

Great level for young kids

(Review written for 'XTB Subscription')

Short, easy to understand notes which our 7 year old can read and understand. Very well presented with fun activities for the kids to do which keeps their interest. Would recommend for early primary schools years as it is a bit young for our 10 year old son.

xtb summary

(Review written for 'XTB Subscription')

We recently purchased xtb for our 2 kids. Our 7 year old daughter thoroughly enjoys it, although it was a bit too young for our 10 year old. The puzzles and word games are great and add another dimension to reading daily Bible notes.
