An excellent book with lots of information on each page, but so easy to read. There is great focus on the biblical account but also interesting facts about life in Bible times and Christmas traditions today. Alison sets things straight about those parts of the Christmas story we know to be true and the parts that have become accepted as true (e.g., the stable, three kings.) Children will love it.
