This is a topical study on the Five Solas. It is choke-full of Scripture to support each of the solas as well as wonderful, thought-provoking questions to work through to strengthen anyone’s understanding of the basis of reformed theology.

There’s a leader’s guide in the second half of the book to facilitate group discussions. There’s also some context for why to study the Five Solas at the beginning of the book.
This is a clear and concise study guide. It offers very little commentary or context which allows one to wrestle with Scripture on my own before immediately turning to a commentary or additional resources.
I enjoy the simplicity to the study guide with how each session is laid out. It can easily be done on its own for individual study, but is also set up to be great for groups. The leader’s guide in the back equips even the most inexperienced leader to do well. These are targeted for adults, but I am even thinking about using them in our homeschooling in our preteen/teen years with the kids.

We've been using this as a home group and have found it very helpful. As the themes are mostly familiar to us as a gospel-focused church, I was concerned that it might sometimes be less helpful but, on the contrary, these are things you can't dig too deeply into or remind yourself of too often, great stuff. Using both an OT and NT passage for each study also works very well and ties Scripture together in a very helpful way. All in all, excellent stuff.
