“A great addition to any family library!”

This fun book would be a great addition to any family library. This book would be fun for any kiddo that loves animals as well. Each page features an animal or type of animal from the Bible. There are fun animal facts on each page with reference to examples where they are mentioned in the Bible. There are over 100 amazing animal facts in this picture book! Even as an adult I learned some cool animal facts I hadn't heard before.

This book isn't extensive on theology and seemed a little vague at times, but is a great resource for starting conversations with your kids about the Bible and animals that are mentioned and their significance to each story.

This book is listed for ages 7+, but I could see younger kids enjoying this one too!
It would also make for a great homeschooling resource.
There is even a quiz at the end of the book to quiz your kiddos on what they learned.

Wow! I am so impressed with the book All About Bible Animals by Simona Piscioneri.
This book is beautifully illustrated, captivating, and engaging for children of all ages.
It is incredible to see so many wonderful biblical truths, and scripture references woven throughout the texts and images in this book.
My children can't put this book down! They are constantly referring to it, and reading me amazing facts they have learnt!
I love the Quiz Time section at the end: such a fun way to recap some key facts! As well as the glossary, which is helpful for some of those bigger words your children may not know or understand yet.
We absolutely love this book! It is an incredible resource to have in your home, and I highly recommend it!

“We love this book! Education and Exciting!”

I am so delighted to have this fantastic resource on our homeschool shelf! I love the way this book shares Scripture and Biblical events in relation to the animal kingdom God created while pointing children marvel at God and to know and understand Him better. Not only is the book full of short snippets of easy to understand facts about animals, but also moral truths such as “actions have consequences”, explaining about sin, forgiveness and even the plan of salvation. Any book that highlights the truth of the Gospel is a win for our family!

For our daughter (aged 4.5 years), this book was absolutely riveting. She poured over the beautiful, photographs for hours, asking me to read her the text in the little bubbles. She squealed at the big snakes and exclaimed over the soft deer. The text was very easy for her to understand and the information was easy absorb in those short snippets. She loved identifying several unique animals like whale sharks, axolotls and chameleons.

I liked that the book was informative, educational and full of Scripture. The exciting, interactive way this book is formatted and presented made it fun to read together and would be appropriate for multiple age ranges. The words encouraged both myself and my daughter to crave God’s Word and want to learn more about His creation in which we live.

This would be an excellent resource for any homeschool family or church/school library plus a great addition to any child’s bookshelf! Though geared towards elementary school age children, my preschooler loved it as well and I can see it appealing even to some middle school aged children.

“A fun, fact-filled book”

I planned to slowly move through this book in our morning homeschool time, but my kids loved it so much we read the whole thing in a couple days. They did not want to put it down!

From an educational perspective, I love that the book touches on so many subjects: Bible, science, history, and vocabulary to name a few.

I really enjoyed the deeper dive into sections of scripture. The author did a great job of in unpacking portions of the text. While also combining interesting facts about each animal.

The pictures are beautiful and draw the reader in.

Overall, a very enjoyable read!

“Educational and Fun Book!”

This book would make the perfect gift for any toddler or young child. It's educational, well thought out, and so fun! I love all of the animals and the tie to Scripture. My only critique is that there is a LOT of information on each page and the design could've been cleaner. Thankful for this book!

“Engaging and Educational”

This engaging, photographically illustrated book introduces kids to facts about animals and explores the role that animals played in Scripture, with their participation in Bible stories and their inspiration as metaphors. There is a section about lions related to the story of Daniel and the lion's den, and there is also a section about deer inspired by Psalm 42:1-2. "All about Bible Animals" starts with creation and ends in Acts, with each animal section relating to a Scripture passage. These sections appear in the order of the books of the Bible.

Each double page spread about a different animal includes striking photographs and interesting facts. Simona Piscioneri explains how each animal connects with the Bible, and includes fast facts related to the animals. There are also glossary sidebars and historical notes. The layout will appeal to kids who like the DK Eyewitness series, and unlike many recent imitators, this book isn't flashy or overstimulating. On every page, there's a lot going on, but it doesn't feel cluttered and is easy to read in flow. My main critique is that even though the author briefly addresses Old Testament animal sacrifice and acknowledges that young animal lovers may find it distressing, her explanation will be too short and oversimplified for kids with serious reservations or confusion about it.

"All about Bible Animals" is a great resource for families, Christian schools, and homeschool groups. There are lots of wonderful nonfiction books about animals on the market, and there are lots of books about animals in Bible stories, but I don't know of anything else that combines these two topics in the same way. This will appeal to a broad age range, especially if parents simplify it for younger kids when reading it aloud. Elementary-aged kids will enjoy reading this to themselves, and the variety of information offered can inspire repeat readings.

“So Fun”

This is such a fun book for elementary aged kids (and adults)! Although the content of this book, animal facts, is not new to the book world, the integration of God and his creation is new and Piscioneri does it very well.

The book is structured with twenty-one chapters or sections that focus on a specific animal or species. Each section includes scientific facts as well as scripture references that reveal how these animals tell us about God's character and power. Also included are facts, descriptions, explanations, details on biblical times to help the reader understand the context.

The design is fun and although nothing fancy or spectacular, it works perfect for a factual reading. Pictures are real life of animals and the facts, etc. are plopped sporadically throughout the sections - still easy to follow and read through.

Piscioneri concludes the book with three sections:

- Everyone Is Welcome: discusses Acts 10:11-12 and Scripture portrays all animals in a way to describe how all people are welcome into the Kingdom of God. This is a strategic and wise way of concluding the book.

- Quiz Time: provides eight questions with multiple choice answers to see how well the reader understood the content

- Glossary: Provides several scientific and biblical words with definitions.

This is a wonderful book for any child to learn more about God and his creation.
