Turn quiet times into a curiosity-sparking, awe-inspiring mission that kids get excited about. As they open their Bible, pick up a pencil and dive in, theyâll advance from a basic understanding of foundational Bible stories to a deeper grasp of who God is.
This fast-paced, action-oriented devotional takes kids 8+ through a guided Bible study of Genesis and Exodus. Each daily dive features...
For kids ready to move beyond Bible storybook read-alouds, this devotional resource is an exciting and achievable next step. Theyâll develop a maturing understanding of who God is as they also consider how we relate to him. Meanwhile, theyâll form the start of a lifelong love for engaging with God through his word.
Enjoy asking them what theyâve discovered, what questions were sparked and whatâs blowing their mind when they emerge from their deep dive into Godâs word each day.
This is an amazing resource for truly digging into Godâs Word! First, your child gets their âmission kitâ ready for their dive into Scripture: this book, a pen or pencil, the Bible, highlighters, and an adult to assist. Then theyâre ready to hop in, and boy, do they dig deep!
Each âdiveâ takes them deeper into passages of the Bible. They read a passage, answer questions, solve puzzles, look for clues, and complete different activities along the way. Itâs essentially ...Bible study disguised as a mission, and I absolutely love it!
I plan on using this with my kids for quite a while. My only wish is that there were an accompanying workbook where each child could compile their notes, clues, and discoveries, maybe something designed like their own personal mission folder. The book itself is so compact and small that having a separate place to keep everything together would be really helpful.
But overall, I have no complaints! Iâm excited to use this in our homeschool. I think it will add both depth to my kidsâ understanding of the Bible and a lot of fun to their time studying Godâs Word. Itâs a creative way to get kids engaged while encouraging them to really dig into Scripture.
I received a complimentary copy. This review reflects my honest opinion.
I got this for my 8 year old son. It is great, perfect for that age. Each devotion takes about 5 minutes and something he can do himself. It isn't too long or too hard.
Seven key Stories from the Old Testament: Creation, Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, Moses and the Tabernacle. Will help young ones grow in their knowledge of the OT, God and their faith. Great present.
