This is the first book in the Seek and Find series we owned, and we've truly enjoyed it as a family! We enjoyed the simple but faithful retelling of Old Testament stories, and so many details to find on the pages! The short stories were just right for my toddler to understand, and with so many things to find and count, my older two (lower-primary aged) stay engaged throughout.
This would be a fun addition to any home or church ...library, or will be great to use in Sunday School classes or for long car trips!

This is a wonderful way to engage younger children with the scriptures in an accessible and engaging way. This volume contains a variety of stories which are summarised and applied in a succinct and helpful way. The illustrations are captivating and there are lots of fun things for little ones to find on each page. I highly recommend it!

Seek and Find: More Old Testament Bible Stories is the latest installment in the Seek and Find series by Sarah and Andre Parker. This book includes 8 Old Testament stories for children to learn. Each page includes lovely illustrations with items for children to look for. They also include a brief synopsis of an Old Testament story and ...a Scripture reference so children and adult readers can look up the full context of the story if they’d like to.
The synopsis for each Bible story in Seek and Find: More Old Testament Bible Stories emphasizes God and concludes with one aspect of His character. I love this because it will help my children remember who God is. I’ve heard of Christians disregarding the Old Testament due to not understanding it but I love that this book helps readers of all ages understand how the Old Testament reveals who God is. Some of the stories conclude with truths about God including: “We can trust God when things are hard, God is the One True God, and God is always in control.”
My younger children often have a harder time paying attention when our family reads the Bible together so I love that Seek and Find: More Old Testament Bible Stories has found a unique way to captivate children’s attention and draw them to the beauty of the Bible and ultimately God. We love this series and can’t wait to read future volumes!
