“Fantastic!”

(Review written for 'XTB Subscription')

Absolutely love this! I am a children's ministry worker and this has played a huge part of the children's' spiritual growth. Through these books they have come to know and understand the Word and God so much more. I am seeing a difference in them since they started using these books. I've used them for one-to-one studies and then sent them home with children to do in the week. Easy to read, nice to look at, explains everything well and all in manageable bitesize chunks! Love it! Cannot recommend it enough!

“Very good”

(Review written for 'XTB Subscription')

This is an excellent daily reading resource for children to read the Bible themselves, with activities to help develop understanding. It includes a guide to finding your way around the bible and a prayer diary along with ideas for prayer, thus helping your child to develop an independent prayer life as part of their Quiet Time. My 3rd child is now using the resource, and I have found it to be a great foundation for more standard Daily Bible Reading notes for my older children.

“Starting a lifetime of Bible Reading”

My 7 year old daughter and I enjoy working through these Bible Reading notes. The activities are engaging and there is the right balance of reading from the Bible. She looks forward to reading the Bible each evening and that has to be a good start to a lifetime of Bible reading

“Brilliant”

(Review written for 'XTB Subscription')

We have been XTB with our 8 year old daughter for over a year now, we use it as 'quiet time' before she goes to bed. She enjoys it so much and it has taught her to think about the Bible far more then if we had just been reading the bible with her. We will continue to do XTB with her every night and will start doing it with her younger sister as she gets older too. What a brilliant concept and very well presented.

“Great notes!”

(Review written for 'XTB Subscription')

My kids really enjoy these and will choose to do them over other stories. Clear, simple and varied applications each day.

“Great for children in KS2”

(Review written for 'XTB Subscription')

Full of colour, puzzles and activities. My 9 year old daughter happily sits and reads it by herself as the level is accessible and activities fun.

“XTB is great, but this is not really a year's subscription”

(Review written for 'XTB Subscription')

We love XTB (me and my 6 year old son). It helps to really understand the gospel, not just the bible stories. I think however that it's not right to call this a year's subscription. 1 issue contains 65 days of bible studies and you receive 4 issues over the year, which is only 260 days of bible studies and not the 365 days a year has. I think this should be more clearly advertised!

Thanks for your review - I'm delighted that you and your son are enjoying exploring the Bible with XTB. My great hope was that it would help children and families come to know the Lord better through His Word.

I completely understand your frustration with the number of full XTB pages per issue - I know it's not ideal. For various reasons it simply wasn't possible to include 90 full days in each issue, and the reality is that there are many children and families who don't use XTB on a daily basis.

But I was very keen that anyone who was reading the Bible every single day didn't suddenly run out of Bible passages to read and think about. That's why you will find 26 extra readings at the back of the book. Each one gives a passage to read, a question to answer and a wordsearch to find that word in. It's not ideal, but was the best option we had to fill in the gap before the next issue.

I do hope you and your son continue to enjoy exploring the Bible together, and that XTB can help with that, even if not in the ideal way. Thanks again for writing your review.

“Excellent bible study notes for children”

(Review written for 'XTB Subscription')

I have found the XTB resource to be such a wonderful bible study tool and aid for our primary school children (7-9) I would definitely recommend it to parents who are considering to purchase it for there children who want to grow in the bible knowledge and spiritual growth as this is pitched a the right level.

“Kicks kids off with independent bible study”

(Review written for 'XTB Subscription')

We have used table talk, a Good Book resource for many years with all 4 of our children. We have recently tried XTB with our 8 year old who is really enjoying it and is familiar with the design. It is really great to see her do her own Bible Study every night, and get into (hopefully) a lifelong love of the scriptures. I would really reccommend this resource, Table Talk is still really great (our oldest, now 10 still enjoys it and our youngest, 5 is now answering questions), and XTB is a super follow on. We do table talk as a family every weekday morning and XTB is used every night. It's great value and teaches alot of Gods word in a simple format anyone can understand. Thanks.

My kids just so enjoyed doing it by themselves. They brought it over to show me. I was so happy they can do it independently. The activities book such are good exercise through the self-study. Thank you our great saviour lord...
