An outstanding set of stories for young kids. Our two year old loves them, and the artwork and language is ideal for his age. He knows what the cross is, who died on the cross, and why Jesus died on the cross. These books have helped us to explain these things to him whilst keeping him engaged.
I am quite bemused by some of the reviews who say the stories are “too light” or “don’t include all the details.” By ...definition, these are simplified retellings of Bible stories for our littlest friends! My son knows these stories virtually off by heart now, and we look forward to using them as a springboard to explain things like repentance and saving faith in the days and years ahead. These serve a wonderful purpose, and are an excellent supplement to overall discipleship.

Stories About Jesus will help your child learn about Jesus' parables and His death and resurrection for us. This is an excellent book to start your little ones off with learning about Jesus. I highly recommend this book.
Wow! Eight stories of Jesus in one book. It’s an omnibus format of the individual stories in the Little Me, Big God series. The book, gave me an opportunity to spend more time on Steph Williams storytelling and artwork. Also see the advantage of being both the author and illustrator which really did well in this new book.
Steph Williams approached this “omnibus” like a Sunday School teacher. She wants not just to make the stories understandable and enjoyable for kids but never missed the big picture. She is a careful teacher that wants to inject doctrine like the deity ...of Christ, discipleship and salvation. Yes the humor and playfulness of the book is there through the narrative, art and lettering but as I have said Williams is careful not for kids to focus more of the fun side but to know something about Jesus and the gospel. The Notes For Older Readers are must read in every “chapter breaks” as a guide to dig deep on the story.
