A delightfully fresh re-telling of the Israelites’ escape from Egypt, this book is perfect for little hearts and minds. The story is clearly told and beautifully illustrated, leaving nothing out of the Biblical tale whilst making it vividly understandable.

The book is aimed at 2-5 year olds, and it’s very well judged for that age group. The repeated phrases exchanged by Moses and Pharoah are ideal for preschoolers to learn and say along, and the countdown is integral but fun! ...
