As an international Christian publisher, our Bible studies, books, devotionals, videos, tracts, evangelistic courses and training materials are used throughout the English-speaking world, and in translation to over 35 languages worldwide.
The Good Book Company started in 1991, and has grown to be an international provider of Christian resources, with offices in South-West London, UK, and in Charlotte, USA, as well as partner offices in Sydney, Australia and Christ Church, New Zealand. We're a diverse collection of believers with Anglican, Baptist, Presbyterian, Congregational and Free Church backgrounds who are united in our aim to support and encourage the spread of the gospel by providing resources that help Christians grow in their understanding and love of the Lord Jesus Christ. We also support gospel ministry further afield.
Tim founded TGBC in 1991. Today his role includes working on editorial projects, managing the rights team and many other aspects of company development. Tim is part of a church-planting team leading Grace Church, New Malden in south-west London. He is married to Kathy and has three adult daughters.
James oversees marketing, sales and customer service as well as leading our wonderful (and rapidly growing) US team. He was an early adopter of Zoom and is the current record holder for most meetings attended in a single week! Before joining TGBC he spent time in Chile and Japan teaching English before becoming a fundraiser for Great Ormond Street Hospital. He is the senior elder at Grace Church Worcester Park.
Carl is Executive Vice President for Publishing at The Good Book Company and serves as an elder at Grace Church Worcester Park, London. He is he author of several books, including the bestselling The Garden, the Curtain, and the Cross. Carl studied Modern History at Oxford University, and prior to joining TGBC in 2010 worked as a journalist and pastored a congregation in Hull.
Kathy has been part of The Good Book Company since it appeared in her living room in 1991. Having put her legal training on hold while having a family, Kathy took on the role of looking after the accounts at The Good Book Company. Over the years her role has grown from part-time bookkeeper to Financial Director. After 30 years with The Good Book Company, Kathy remains cautiously optimistic.
Tom has been addicted to the joys of bulk buying, strategy games and computers since his teenage years. Since 1999 when he first joined, these addictions have been more fruitfully channelled into Kingdom building work in helping us properly harness modern technology and benefit from the global marketplace.
Peter is from Ireland, but now calls the USA his home. He attends Oakhurst Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC and claims to be the older, shorter and less sophisticated of two brothers. He enjoys spreadsheets far too much!
Paige is the VP of Finance & HR, where she leads an all-star team and is dedicated to creating a strong and positive workplace culture. At home, she’s navigating life with her husband, three kids, and an unshakably optimistic loyalty to NC State—because who needs a winning season when you’ve got commitment? When she’s not tackling spreadsheets, toddlers or cheering on her beloved Wolfpack, she’s capturing life’s moments through photography. She and her family live in Raleigh, NC and are members of Imago Dei Church.
Bethany is essentially a 'book matchmaker', making sure that our books find the people they'll serve best. Bethany lives near Charlotte with her husband Matt and their small dog Indy. They are part of New City Church and love helping others know Christ and grow in him.
Brandon joined TGBC in 2021 to dig into data about inventory, sales, marketing, and more. When he's not staring at spreadsheets, he loves cooking and traveling. Brandon is married to Katherine and lives in Boston, MA, where they're members at City on a Hill Church.
A long-time fan of the Good Book Company (with plenty of dog-eared books to prove it), Jacob loves to help others discover their next great read. Jacob resides in Michigan with his wife, four children, and one very rambunctious labradoodle. He's active in his church and local library, and loves to see people grow in their faith through reading.
Abigail serves as the web marketing specialist, focusing on optimizing website content and helping to streamline customer journeys. She lives in Martinsburg, WV with her husband, Thomas and her daughter, Evangeline. They attend Grace Church in Martinsburg, West Virginia.
As a member of the design team, Drew creates marketing graphics, designs book covers, and dabbles in photography. Drew and his wife, Megan, live in Boston, MA, where they attend City on a Hill Church.
Calista is one of the friendly customer service associates here at The Good Book Company. She enjoys reading, writing, and cooking, and has a minor obsession with houseplants. She resides in Charlotte, NC, with her husband and three children, and they are members of Oakhurst Baptist Church.
Jordan inadvertently ended up in accounting but she now enjoys the problem-solving and balance it brings to her daily life. Outside of work, she can be found wrangling her lively labradoodle and enjoying time outdoors. She lives in Charlotte and attends Oakhurst Baptist Church.
Nick loves to read good books and talk with others about them—so he considers being the US Sales Director at TGBC a dream job! Nick grew up in the mountains of Colorado with 7 siblings, but now calls the vibrant city of Chicago home. He is a happy member of Edgewater Baptist Church, an avid player and supporter of (European) football, a drummer, and one who loves to laugh with friends.
After finishing a marathon of reading in a Master's Degree from Reformed Theological Seminary, she is delighted to help resource churches and individuals with quality books. She lives in Charlotte, NC, attends Oakhurst Baptist Church, and holds the utmost appreciation for mountain trails, porch swings, and being an Auntie.
Matt is married to Bethany of Marketing fame and lives near Charlotte, NC. He attends New City Church, studies Japanese (こんにちは), and is quite grateful to call the capital of NASCAR racing his home.
Grace would love you to join her for a chat with a good cup of coffee! She resides in Charlotte, NC with her husband and daughter, where they are members of Oakhurst Baptist Church.
André oversees the Design dept of The Good Book Company, working on most of the resources TGBC produces and art-directing the illustrated children’s titles. André lives in London with his wife Sarah, their four children and a hyperactive dog. He is a member of Holy Trinity Clapham.
Rachel Jones is the author of "Is This It?", "A Brief Theology of Periods" and many of the award-winning "Five Things to Pray" series. She is also a senior editor working with authors on a wide variety of projects. She's a member of King's Church Chessington, where she's involved in children's work. Rachel studied History at Manchester University before joining TGBC in 2013.
Katy works on a wide variety of projects, from rhyming children’s books to adult Bible studies, and is also the author of the children’s book "The Promise and the Light". Before she came to TGBC she worked in a school chaplaincy team, and she’s now involved with youth work at her local church. Katy lives in Chessington but enjoys escaping the suburbs for long countryside walks.
Despite being born in the UK, Tom supports Australia in sporting achievements, having spent most of his youth in Sydney. He currently works on shipping pallets around the world, keeping our website accurate and editing ebooks. He is the only committed PC user in the company (which he is quietly humble about). Tom attends Dundonald Church in Raynes Park with his wife Katie and their daughter Jessica.
Richard brings a wealth of experience and a wonderful aura of calmness to our busy printing buying department. He lives in Weybridge where he attends Wey Christian Fellowship and is active on the leadership team. He is married to Grace and has two lovely children. He is not related to the 'worst man in the world' in any known way.
Emily Robertson has been at The Good Book Company since 2007 performing various tasks on the marketing team. Her current position co-ordinates email marketing. She is married to Dave, has two lively daughters and attends Emmanuel Epsom, a fledgling church plant of Chessington Evangelical Church.
Before editing books for TGBC, Catherine was a writer and editor at Christian charity, Stewardship. Amongst other things, she also previously worked in marketing for a theatre, spent time in mission focused on anti-trafficking in Asia and studied History of Art and English Literature at university.
Nic’s interest in computers began when he was introduced to video games as a child. His work involves programming, a bit of technical support, and anything else IT related. He also has a passion for music, and was part of the National Concert Band of the Air Training Corps as a teenager. He is part of the new church plant, Emmanuel Epsom.
Jackie uses her superhuman administration skills to keep all our publishing processes on track. She also frequently brings the UK office vital supplies of baked goods to keep energy levels high! She is involved in various ministries at Cornerstone Church in Kingston and her new favourite pastime is seeing her grandchildren.
Ben works on various marketing campaigns and catalogues, as well as designing covers for titles such as John Piper’s "Living in the Light". He is married with three children and a member of Kings Church Kingston (part of the Newfrontiers network).
As well as proof-reading all TGBC titles, Anne edits Bible-study resources by authors such as Tim Chester and Jason Helopoulos. She’s married to Pete, one of the pastors of Cornerstone Church, Kingston.
Since joining TGBC in 2000, Alison has worked on a huge variety of titles including the Christianity Explored range and many of our children’s series. She is the author of the award-winning books "The One O’Clock Miracle" and "Jesus and the Lions’ Den". Alison is a member of Cornerstone Church, Kingston.
Despite being born in the UK, Elizabeth is fascinated by other languages and cultures. She studied modern languages and linguistics at university and is delighted to use those skills in working with translation partners around the world and selling language rights for our publications. She particularly enjoys testing her colleagues to see if they can recognise some of the more unusual languages in which these are now published.
Mus does a broad range of techie things, including turning things off and on again when they break. Ethnically, he is a Turkish Cypriot, with a Rwandan-English wife. Their kids are real mixed kebabs!
