Empower kids aged 3+ to connect the gospel to their own actions, attitudes, and perspective! From creation and fall to redemption, sanctification, and glorification, this colorful rhyming storybook captures the beauty of the gospel message through simple, practical rhyming language and illustrations that children will love to engage with.
Focusing on the way we use their eyes, Abbey Wedgeworth helps children to see with God’s view of them, others, and the world around them, and to look forward to a future when believers will see Jesus face to face and be made perfect with him forever!
They’ll also see that when their eyes don’t do what they should (like when ...they roll with disrespect or look down on others), they can look to Jesus as the perfect example, ask God for forgiveness when they mess up, and receive the help of the Holy Spirit as they use their eyes for God's glory instead!
With bright illustrations and fun rhymes, this storybook will inspire and equip your children to follow Jesus in word and deed.
Your Incredible Eyes is part of the Training Young Hearts series, which encourages children towards gospel-centered, grace-fueled obedience. The lift-the-flap board books for toddlers focus on specific behaviors while the rhyming storybooks help kids ages 3+ to understand the gospel and apply it to their lives in a way that suits their age and stage.
Your Incredible Eyes by Abbey Wedgeworth, illustrated with charm and warmth by Emma Randall, is a beautifully crafted picture book that invites children to explore and celebrate the gift of sight. The book walks through the amazing ways our eyes work — from noticing colors to seeing distant landscapes — while connecting each truth back to the goodness and creativity of God’s design.
What sets this book apart is how it balances wonder with clarity. Wedgeworth’s writing is both accessible ...and rich, taking concepts about the eye that could feel scientific or complex, and presenting them in a way that’s engaging and easy for children to grasp. This isn’t just a book about anatomy; it’s a book that points young readers toward gratitude, reminding them that the ability to see — in all its detail and beauty — is a gift worth celebrating.
Emma Randall’s illustrations bring every spread to life with playful color, expressive characters, and delightful moments that draw children into the story of their own eyes. The art makes the science feel alive, turning each page into an invitation to look closely — not only at the world around us, but at the One who crafted it.
Your Incredible Eyes stands out as a resource that nurtures curiosity, encourages thankfulness, and celebrates God’s thoughtful design. It’s a book that can spark fresh conversation, captivate young minds, and leave both children and adults with a deeper appreciation for one of the body’s most remarkable gifts.
Your Incredible Eyes is part of a favorite series in our home, and this installment is as wonderful as the others. In simple, engaging language, it helps children understand that their eyes were created by God and that how we use them matters.
The book explores both ways we can honor God with our eyes—and ways we sometimes don’t—offering clear, age-appropriate teaching without being heavy or shaming. As with the rest of the series, the gospel is woven in naturally, ...making it not just a behavior book but a heart-shaping one.
The rhyming text holds young listeners’ attention, and the concepts translate easily into everyday conversations. We return to this series all the time, and I’m always grateful for the helpful language it gives parents to use with their kids.
A wonderful choice for families looking for biblically grounded, grace-filled resources for ages 3–7.

Delightful and diverse illustrations with easy rhymes for kids to learn about all the good things God has created our eyes to do, those things we ought not to do, and bringing it home to the most important thing - what Jesus has done for us. The focus on heart change over behavior change is something I think is important to discuss with kids and also greatly lacking in children’s literature. This is a great addition to the “Training Young Hearts” series and I love to see more gospel-centered books on the market for children.
I especially like this book on eyes because children so often think they aren’t doing anything wrong with rolling eyes, staring at people, or looking away from those who are sad. Since it’s not as physical as doing something with our hands or mouths, many sins with our eyes tend to be overlooked or downplayed, especially by children. This book brings those sins to light and points the child to right behavior based on what Jesus has done. I couldn’t love that more for our children!
I love the clear presentation of the gospel and also particularly love the last page where it states our faith is made sight. What a perfect way to end a book about eyes. Seeing our Savior face to face is something all believers can look forward to.
