It is centred around The Lord’s Prayer, focusing on everyday objects that a child will be able to understand and see as you read it together. I could easily see how the same objects could be used to make these prayers really interactive (potentially one for the ...summer holidays!) With each character being introduced separately this is a book that you can take your time over and use as a reminder as you go about your everyday life. This is a fun book that gives you the why as well as the what!

As a parent, I really appreciated this sweet and thoughtful introduction to prayer for young children! Through the P.R.A.Y. Pals, Poppy, Rainy, Airy, and Yessy, kids are taught the different aspects of prayer: Praise, Repent, Ask, and Yield. The book walks through the Lord’s Prayer in a way that is engaging, easy to understand, and rooted in solid biblical truth.
One thing I especially appreciated was how clearly it talked about sin, repentance, and remaining faithful to God while still ...keeping the language accessible for little ones. The rhyming text and adorable illustrations make it fun and memorable for young readers.
While my almost 6-year-old was not the biggest fan, I do think that is more reflective of the recommended age range being 3–5. I could definitely see younger children enjoying and connecting with it more.
This would make a great addition to family reading time, children’s church, or Sunday school classrooms.

One of the greatest things we can do as parents is teach our children about God, how to talk to Him and how to pray. This sweet picture book makes learning about prayer approachable, fun, and easy to understand. With beautiful illustrations, it offers a helpful guideline on how to pray, along with simple explanations for why we pray the way we do. It’s a wonderful resource for Christian families looking to teach their little ones about prayer.
