Reviewer Program Terms & Conditions

Our reviewer program is limited to new releases each month. If you wish to review an older release, you will need to purchase a copy.

Criteria for Requests

  • Under 1K followers: free ebooks
  • 1k-4.9k followers: free ebooks, 1 hard copy request
  • 5k-9.9k followers: free ebooks, 3 hard copy requests, 1 giveaway per quarter
  • 10k-50k + followers: free ebooks, free hard copies, 1 giveaway per month

Guidelines for Reviews

  • Whenever possible, reviewers are to tag The Good Book Company in whichever territory you live when you share reviews on social media. Alongside sharing a review on your own channels, we request that you copy your review onto at least one other website, such as Amazon, Goodreads, or our website.
  • We have accounts in three territories for Instagram, Facebook, and X:
    • United States: @thegoodbookcompanyusa
    • United Kingdom: @thegoodbookcompanyuk
    • Australia: @thegoodbookau
  • For those receiving hard copies, an image of the book must be included in your review.
  • Please include a link to our website.
  • Posts on Facebook or Instagram must be a minimum of three sentences, and express a summary or honest opinion about the book.
  • Reviews on a blog or website must be at least five to seven sentences, and express a summary or honest opinion about the book.

Members of The Good Book Reviewer Program agree to review the books they requested within two months of receiving them. Reviews must include a line stating that you received a complimentary copy as a reviewer and that all opinions shared are your own.

Please note: Hard copy requests will only be shipped to addresses in the US, the UK, and Australia. For our Canadian friends, we can only provide free PDFs.

Guidelines for Giveaways

  • Giveaway requests are reserved for our reviewers who have 5k or more followers. As outlined above, those with 5k - 9.9k followers may request 1 giveaway per quarter. Those with 10k - 50k+ followers may request 1 giveaway per month.
  • We only offer new releases for giveaways. If you have a particular campaign in mind (i.e. sharing favorite Christmas books) and would like to request a backlist book for that specific campaign, we will consider your request.
  • Please email reviewers@thegoodbook.com to request approval for your giveaway campaign and number of books intended for giveaway prior to hosting the giveaway on your platform.
  • Typically, requests for up to 3 books to include in a giveaway are approved. However, we consider each request on a case-by-case basis.
  • All giveaways hosted on social media should tag our account.

If a reviewer is requesting books and not reviewing them, The Good Book Company reserves the right to remove them from the program. Members of the program are always welcome to reach out to reviewers@thegoodbook.com with questions.
