Endorsements

This is the sort of book I wish I’d read as a teenager: a clear, thoughtful and brightly written take on the relationship between Christianity and science. John and Katy don’t doesn’t duck the tough questions, and they handle them with insight and wit. Bravo.

Here is crystal clarity on an issue that confuses and deters many would-be believers. This book is so worth reading and passing on to your science-loving friends—whether you or they are a Christian or not.

5.00 stars Answers difficult questions with facts, faith, and truth!

This thoughtful and insightful book proves that you don’t have to choose a side- science or religion. The two complement each other! Science AND religion. You can be a scientist and believe in God. This book explains how science works and why science can’t explain everything. Science has its limits! That’s why we need something more.

You’ll think on big questions like: Why is the universe ordered and understandable at all? Does everyone have faith- even atheists?!? How do you ...

5.00 stars Highly recommend to read with your children

This book is very thoughtful provoking especially in asking the question why. John Lennox lays out very clearly that Christianity back up science. He isn't out to shut down the theory of Science but that they go together. He encourages the young person to explore both sides and come to their own conclusion.
Would highly recommend for teenagers at secondary school. For when they begin to explore science, big bang, DNA and faith. I would recommend it as a book that a parent and child go through together and discuss and think about.
At the end of each chapter there ...

5.00 stars Excellent Read for Teenagers and Adults Alike

I’ve read a number of books from John Lennox before, and this coauthored work is a simple but profound explanation of how science and faith in the God of the Bible can not only be compatible but highly likely. The book explores various important topics in an easy to read manner, and though it is written for teenagers, it would be a great book for adults too! The one extra thing I do like is that you can also download a discussion guide from the website to use alongside the book in a youth group or home group, to enable ...
